Random NothingnessWell it took me long enough, but I finally am getting around to updating this thing. Though it’s painfully obvious to some, I’ve just now realized that I should blog in word and then c/p to
Blogger in order to keep my efforts on the down-low.
I’ve been at this office a month already and I love it. I’m working with a bunch of very nice, *hygienic*, close-knit people, supporting a very interesting and down to earth investor, philanthropist, historian and politician. All in all I have nothing to complain about. I realize this could all change, but I’m happy. My job isn’t boring (yes, it’s a lot of the same activities, but each involves a lot of thinking around these activities). There is also a lot of errand running so I get to spend a bit of time outside of the office I’m never tethered to my desk and I get to enjoy the summer sun. I’m also starting to learn a lot about American History and how LLC’s and things like that work.
I get time to peruse the internet, time to pay my bills and attend to personal matters and email to communicate with the outside world. The best part is I don’t have to get up at 4:30 a.m. anymore! There is an NYSC in my building so I have no excuse not work out either before or after work (half of my battle is actually getting my arse to the gym).
I actually have time to have a life. I love it. I’ve found what Starbucks often refers to (but never offers!) as the “work-life balance” and frankly, I’m loving it.
I finally got around to getting my car fixed only took me about a month. Also: people who are driving that are uninsured and causing accidents suck at life. I hate you.
I doubt anyone read this far, but that’s really all that is going on. It took me pretty much all day to write this, but hopefully I’ll actually continue posting more frequently. Probably not though, eh, oh well.
