But My Mom Says I'm Smart

Last night while drunk I said the following quote, which I wrote down for posterity while talking about the movie Gremlins:

"You know that movie and a ewok is driving in a Ferarri, um wait! I mean Gizmo."

Just think about that and I'm sure you'll start bleeding from the ears. I was trying to talk about how Piper's growl sounds like a gremlin and that she would be the grandma gremlin in the pillbox hat and Mrs. Peacock glasses smokin' cigs at the slot machine.

All Grown Up

My boss sent me out on errands this a.m. and on my way out he goes "oh, I need you to move my car, too" so he tosses me the keys to his brand new Mercedes SLK and tells me to just take his car 'cause it will be easier.

I got to rock out all over town in a Mercedes and it drove like a dream and smelled like new leather. Plus I got honked at my a cute dude at a traffic lights! (Sorry, bebes, it was an ego trip!) I think I could really get used to owning one. Looks like I need to start saving my pennies.

Other than that all is well here. My baby brother turned 21 yesterday. For my 21st I got a bottle of Grey Goose and some nips. My brother: he got a 42" flat panel PLASMA TV. Yeah, that seems pretty fair.

On the plus side, I got to go out drinking with my mom last night. It was great. We're goign out drinking again on Wednesday, Friday and again on Saturday (sans mommy) as well. If my liver makes it through this week I'd say I'm getting back into college fighting shape.

If only I could hit the gym as hard as I hit the bottle, lol.

Geekin' Out

This is the new Harry Potter trailer and it looks like it's going to be the best movie yet. It is tied for first with Half Blood Prince for being my favorite book. It definitely looks like they've done it some justice.

The Olsen Twins Are Still Trying To Kill Me

Way back when the Olsen Twins gave me pink eye. For some of you, this was before your time some of you may recall the big conjunctivitis debacle of '03 fondly. Anyhow, I bought this really cute Olsen Twin eye shadow thingy and I loved the color and it was totally appropriate for work, but alas after wearing it one freakin' day I had to take contacts out after digging at my eyes for like 6 hours. Within 3 minutes of putting the crap on my eye bugged out and it probably took another 3 days for me to realize that it was those pesky Olsens.

I tried putting on the contacts that I had in that day after soaking them for 2 days and thoroughly cleaning them. They stung my eyes so bad that I could barely even open my eyes to get them back out. You've won this round, vixens, but I'll get you yet!
